FarandulaMag:  How did you start your interest for art?

STH: My dad is a graphic designer, he used to design signs, he doesn’t anymore but he would always draw stuff and looking through sketch books.  This is how I started getting into art, drawing and things like that.

FarandulaMag:  What inspires you to create these pieces?

STH: A lot of times in the art class, they give us a prompt and we just draw it..but for these paintings ,  I did variations. I started this one in art class but this was for my Instagram, along with these two and I just did variations. Same for the ones I do in art class. You don’t always have to always keep making new ideas, just keep creating.

FarandulaMag: What is your usual process to create art?

STH: Normally, I sketch out ideas in my sketchbook and just go from there. I decide if I want a painting or doodle and just get it done.

FarandulaMag: How long does it usually take to create your art?

STH: I would say about 2-3 hours a day, for a week.

FarandulaMag: Do you paint more people or do other kind of artwork?

STH: Yes, I do but I don’t enjoy it as much. Lot of people ask me to paint flowers and stuff but its been done already so many times and I don’t want to do that’s been done already.

FarandulaMag: What work do you most enjoying doing?

STH: Depends on what I am doing, but I normally like to switch between artworks as I get bored of the other. Mostly I like to use color pencil and water colors.

FarandulaMag: Can you tell us about some of your goals and you projects for the future?

STH: I am currently saving up to go to Montenegro as one of my friends was an exchange student there and we want to just go and explore the art there and then take a boat on the sea and go to Italy. So, just travelling around and experience new art and cultures.

FarandulaMag: Any last words?

STH: I just want to encourage other young artists to think out of the box when given a prompt and to try and discover their own style as early as possible and know it keeps developing as you grow older.
