Luis Coronel celebrates the announcement of his much-anticipated new album, “Ahora Soy Yo,” now available for presale in Mexico and the U.S., ahead of its official release on October 20. Fans can also pre-order a signed copy by entering now to www.fye.com.
Making this occasion even more special, the artist also celebrates receiving nominations to Premios de la Radio in the categories of “Los Reyes de la Redes” (The Kings of Social Media) and “Video Del Año” (Video of the Year), for his hit single, “Tal Como Eres.” In addition, Luis also received nominations to the Premios Bandamax 2017 in the following categories: “Solista Juvenil del Año” (Young Soloist of the Year) and “Regional Mexicano ft. Urbano” (Regional Mexican ft. Urban).
Ahora Soy Yo” is an album with which Luis showcases the biculturality that characterizes him, with songs composed by Luciano Luna, Joss Favela, Joey Montana and Edgar Barrera, as well as an explosive collaboration with Farruko. In this new musical proposal, the artist shows a fusion of classic Regional Mexican sounds with rhythms such as reggae, pop, ballad and country, that reflect the modern youth and steers away from today’s stereotypical music.
This past February, Luis presented the first single off the album, “Dime Que Se Siente,” which caused frenzy among his fans, who eagerly waited for new music. Then, with the release of the second single, “Tal Como Eres,” Luis made history as the first Regional Mexican artist to ever travel to Havana, Cuba, to record a music video. Both singles dominated the industry and reached the top of several popularity charts in Mexico and the U.S., showing what is to come with his new album.
Now, after tour throughout the U.S. with Prince Royce this summer, Luis is focused on continuing to promote his music ahead of the official release of “Ahora Soy Yo.”
