Two New Music Videos By RICARDO MONTANER Give Us A Preview Of His Upcoming Release

“Jaw-dropping.” That’s how the singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner describes his two latest music videos that Sony Music Latin will premieres today. The videoclips are for “Me Va a Extrañar”, a banda version of his classic ballad featuring the Mexican artist Julión Álvarez; and “Te Hubieras Ido Antes”, his popular ballad cover of the Julión Álvarez banda original, featuring a vibrant string section recorded in London. These songs represent a real two-way interchange of musical inspiration.

Both videos will be included on Montaner’s forthcoming special-edition DVD Ida y Vuelta , which will be released in early September. It was recorded in Mexico on April 2017.

“It’s a true honor to have been joined on this project by so many renowned artists,” Montaner notes. “These two songs are the perfect appetizer for the full DVD which will be available in the coming weeks. Ida y Vuelta is one of my favorite projects of my entire career…and more surprises are coming.”

Both songs are included on Montaner’s most recent album, also titled Ida y Vuelta, in which the renowned Venezuelan artist pays tribute to signature songs of the Regional Mexican genre, while the Mexican artists he honors return the favor by performing his greatest hits.
