9th Annual Mackinac Bridge Fall Color Run

Enjoy the spectacular views from the top of the Mackinac Bridge with all its fall splendor during the 9th Annual Mackinac Bridge Fall Color Run on Saturday, October 7th. The first half of the race is a steady incline with a slope of 5º, with the total length of the course is 5.06 miles.

The race begins at 7am with staggered start times at Bridgeview Park at the north end of the bridge in St. Ignace and ends at the Recreation Center in Mackinaw City.  Transportation will be provided to the north side of the bridge between 6:45-8am, and participants must be in line no later than 7:45am to guarantee a spot on the last bus. There will be no starting of the race after 8:30am.

Age divisions are broken down between 14 and 75, for both men and women. All participants must be able to run a minimum of a 12-minutes-per-mile pace to take part in this event. Not walkers or baby joggers are allowed. Awards will be presented to the top three (3) finishers in each gender and age category. The award ceremony will follow breakfast, at approximately 9:30am when ALL runners have completed the race.  For specific information, please review the Official Race Brochure.
