Teaming up with the CAN’d Aid Foundation in building bikes for kids who need them
Comstock Park, Mich. – Perrin Brewing has recently partnered with the CAN’d Aid Foundation to help build bikes for kids that need them! Perrin’s goal is to build over 55 bikes to donate to Aberdeen Elementary School but they need the help of volunteers! Join the staff of Perrin Brewing on Saturday, March 18th from 10am – Noon to help assemble bikes for the entire first grade at Aberdeen Elementary. For many students, this will be their first bike ever. Delivery of the bikes is set on Monday, March 20th at 2pm at Aberdeen Elementary.
The CAN’d Aid Foundation is all about digging in and making a difference where they CAN. With a focus on “do-goodery” efforts on supporting Towns, Tunes, Treads + Trails and Love Yur Mama programs. The bike build program is about rallying volunteers to help build brand new bicycles for title 1 schools in communities around the nation.
This is Perrin Brewing first time partnering with CAN’d Aid Foundation and launching the Build Bikes for Kids event. Volunteers including children are welcome to just show up ready to jump in and help out. No previous bike building experience necessary. The bikes will be delivered to Aberdeen Elementary on Monday, March 20th at 2pm, join in this bike delivery and sharing the smiles that will stretch across the faces of these students!
