RICARDO MONTANER And FARRUKO Present Their First Collaboration “VASITO DE AGUA”

Published on

The legendary Argentine-Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner is joined by the Puerto Rican urban superstar Farruko on “Vasito De Agua” (Glass of Water). This single and video are available from all digital-music platforms. Astounding and ultramodern, “Vasito De Agua” furthers Montaner‘s recent artistic evolution which has brought him newfound acclaim from fans of all ages. As co-writer of this song along with Farruko (“Calma Remix,” “Obsesionado,”) Montaner keeps his signature romanticism at the forefront, despite the new sound elements. As the lyrics in Spanish say: “By your side I can move the mountain, when you’re far away my heart withers, by your side the Amazon River seems short, when you’re far away I drown in a glass of water.” Filmed between Miami and Puerto Rico by director Marlene Rodríguez Miranda, the music video of “Vasito De Agua” shows the tropical beauty of the two cities. “Vasito De Agua” is the third single and first collaboration from Montaner‘s 24th studio album, titled Montaner. This single has already reached more than 43 million views on YouTube, placing itself in the Top 30 Global on that platform, before its official release. Montaner, released in May reached #6 on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart. The first single, “¿Qué Vas a Hacer?” (What Are You Going To Do?) has over 40 million views on YouTube with a music video that stars Lali and J Balvin. The video for the second single “No Me Hagas Daño” (Don’t Hurt Me) features a much talked-about dancing scene with Nicky Jam and Patricia Zavala. Montaner‘s creative renaissance continues with “Vasito De Agua,” an elegant, seductive collaboration with Farruko.
