Interview with Makeup Artist Johan Grimaldi

FarándulaMag: What inspires you to do make up?
Johan: It depends on the occasion, wedding photography, or a particular topic or halloween. But usually I get my inspiration out of anything, even from simplest things.

FarándulaMag:  What beauty products do you think every woman should own?
Johan:Any product they like and fits in your pocket.

FarándulaMag:  What is the most common beauty mistakes?
Johan:The biggest mistake is to use “tattooing” to do your makeup.

FarándulaMag: What beauty products each woman should have in their purses?
Johan:Personally, I think every woman should have; mascara, lipstick, lip gloss, eyelash curler, blush / rouge and brushes. It is the most basic thing a woman should have for a natural look.

FarándulaMag: What is your favorite makeup brush?
Johan:I really don’t have a particular one, they all have a different role and I like them all.

FarándulaMag: When did you realize you wanted to be makeup artist?
Johan:Back in Halloween 2007, and saw that you could make wonderful things with makeup.
