Lively “Fashion and Tea” Program Highlights Vintage Fashion at the Grand Rapids Public Museum

Grand Rapids, MI – The Grand Rapids Public Museum (GRPM) is hosting its second 2016 Fashion and Tea program on Saturday, March 26. Learn about fashion, customs and culture from the Civil War Era into the 20th Century and explore the Museum’s Education Collection of vintage clothing, down to the tiniest detail.

The programs will begin in the Streets of Old Grand Rapids exhibition which will transport guests back in time to the Victorian era. The program will continue in a classroom at the Museum where guests can indulge in sweet treats and tea, while enjoying a visual feast.

Fashion and Tea programs will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Additional Fashion and Tea program dates are Saturday, April 16 and Saturday, May 7. Tickets are $15 for non-members and $13 for members. Tickets are limited, purchase early online at www.grpm.org, by phone at 616.456.3977 or at the Museum’s front desk.
