Their New Video “DEJA VU” Surpasses 16 Million Views On Vevo/Youtube On Its First Weekend
Prince Royce and Shakira are taking over with their new video “Deja Vu“, which surpassed 16 million views on Vevo/YouTube on its first weekend out and now has more that 17 million views.
To date, the video has reached #1 on YouTube’s trending chart in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Paraguay, Guatemala, Panama and Slovenia; and # 2 in Uruguay, Costa Rica, Switzerland and Romania. “Deja Vu” also reached #2 on digital stores overall chart of the most downloaded videos in the country.
In addition to the impressive figures achieved by the video since its launch last Friday, the artists have exploded on social media becoming trending topics in multiple countries and one of the prevailing subjects of conversation throughout the weekend.

Filmed by renown director Jaume de Laiguana, the video highlights the sensual rhythm of bachata in a story where the music brings back memories that end up bringing together the characters played by the artists.
Deja Vu” is the fourth single off Royce‘s brand new album FIVE. At a challenging time for record sales, with FIVEPrince Royce recently scored the most successful debut for a Latin album in the US and Puerto Rico since 2015, which positioned him at #1 on Billboard’s “Top Latin Albums” chart for two consecutive weeks.
FIVE can be found on all digital media platforms as well as in stores. To download and/or stream FIVE now, clickHERE.
All FIVE (deluxe version) physical albums come with a black tattoo but only five include golden tattoos. Fans who find the golden tattoos (along with their companions) receive a date with Royce. A Chicago fan found the first golden tattoo and already had her date with the artist. The remaining four are yet to be found in the US and Puerto Rico.
As its title suggests, FIVE is Royce‘s fifth career album and his fourth bachata production. The album’s deluxe version contains 18 original songs written or co-written by the artist as well as produced by Royce, alongside D’Lesly “Dice” Lora, with whom he has collaborated on all his bachata albums. FIVE‘s standard version features 12 of the tracks. FIVE is preceded by three hit singles “Culpa Al Corazón“, “La Carretera” and “Moneda” and includes a plethora of wonderful collabs with Shakira, Zendaya, Chris Brown, SpiffTV, Farruko, Gente de Zona,Gerardo Ortiz and Arturo Sandoval.
