Last week, Río Roma and Yuridia revealed the rest of the story, debuting the second part of the video on YouTube, which also serves as the banda version of this single. It features the award-winning Sinaloan group La Adictiva. With outstanding word-of-mouth, “Yo Te Prefiero a Ti” has become yet another romantic classic in Río Roma’s canon. The lyrics cut straight to the core, as they deal with the yearnings of an unrequited but unshakable love.Yuridia adds her vocal dynamite to his heartfelt track. The first chapter of the video for “Yo Te Prefiero a Ti” introduced us to an attractive, modern-day Bonnie and Clyde-type couple whose loyalties and longings shifted from moment to moment. Now, fans can enjoy the captivating conclusion of this story, as dramatic scenes are interspersed with shots of Río Roma, Yuridia and La Adictiva, the legendary brass ensemble known for such Regional Mexican chart-toppers as “El Amor de mi Vida,” “Esta Es Tu Canción,” and “En Peligro de Extinción.” Río Roma recalls how this new version took shape: “This collaboration came together in a very natural way when we were invited to the fair in Texcoco.
