The acts of this festival are diverse because they range from classic jazz to latin inspired jazz, to local talent. Euge Groove, the headliner of GRand Jazz Fest, whose name comes from the saxophonist of the band, Steve Grove, is known both nationally and internationally. Their 2000 debut album really put this band on the map, however, Grove has performed will well known names before and after that album came out.

The Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra featuring vocalist Edye Evans Hyde will also be playing and Hyde has not only played/sang locally, but all over the world! This band has been around for almost 4 decades and they not only play recognized jazz songs, they also play originals.
