ARTPRIZE Eight Artist and Venue Connection is Closed!

Connections closed today for ArtPrize Eight, to take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan from September 21-October 9, 2016. Over the past four months, the eighth annual event has taken shape online at artprize.org as Artists and Venues found each other, built connections and organized their own shows. Just three months from today, hundreds of thousands of visitors will fill the museums, cafes and sidewalks of downtown Grand Rapids for 19 days of exploration and discovery.

ArtPrize will announce the final number of participating Artists and Venues on Monday, June 27.

Radically open by design, ArtPrize annually invites anyone over 18, working in any medium, from any place on earth to enter their artwork into the world’s largest art competition, and to seek a combination of public vote and juried awards totaling $500,000.
