CRISTIAN CASTRO Releases MI TRIBUTO A JUAN GABRIEL

Cristian Castro releases his album Mi Tributo a Juan Gabriel. It features masterful interpretations of the extraordinary hits of Mexico’s all-time great singer and songwriter, the beloved and sorely missed Juan Gabriel. The first single is “He Venido a Pedirte Perdón”.

“Thanks to my grandmother, I love Juan Gabriel so much; he is the singer and songwriter who unites and moves us the most. He represents the happiest days of my life that I spent with her,” Cristian recalls.

As the album’s musical director Gustavo Farías notes: “Producing a tribute to Mexico’s most prolific songwriter in history is a serious commitment. However, doing justice to Juan Gabriel as a singer who was active for over 40 years, is an even more solemn and ambitious task. I never would have dared to do it if I hadn’t been able to work with a talent like Cristian Castro who has the vocal range to truly do justice to the art and genius of Juan Gabriel.”
